I use MS Query in Excel quite a bit and a day or two ago it began acting odd. I hit Data and then Get External Data and I am able to pick my source and then it takes me to the Query Wizard…no problems so far…at the last page of the wizard there is an option to “View data or edit in MS Query” and if I select that the query disappears althought MS Query still shows in the task bar. If I right click in the task bar and choose Restore nothing happens. If I close it then it asks where I want to insert my data, just as it does at the end of the wizard.
Every other aspect of this add in works fine except for opening MS Query, all other queries I’ve created in the past still work fine, but I need to get into Query to add tables etc. for new queries.
I have tried to remove the add in and reinstall it with no luck.
If no one has an easy solution, can I uninstall just Excel and reinstall or do I have to uninstall all of Office?
