Think I posted this in the wrong place – shall try here.

Hi- Susan Bradley from windows newsletter last month suggested holding off from installing KB2687455 for MS office 2010 sp2. I still have this to update and keep getting ms reminders that this is available on my pc. Should I check the box and install or should I still wait? I ran Belarc and it shows that my pc is up to date! Thanks for any advice.

Susan said she needed a couple of weeks to see if there are reports of problems with that update. She’s had three weeks and not mentioned it again. Just install it. Why wait?

The biggest issue with Office SP2 concerns an incompatibility with Norton Internet Security and the Anti-Sapm add-in for Outlook. See:

        https://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/NIS2013-Anti-Spam-COM-Add-In-no-longer-compatible-with/m-p/995273#M241975

Incidentally, Susan Bradley has not listed the update (KB2687455) in her Patch Watch at all, not even with a Wait recommendation. The master list hasn’t been updated since 5/20/2013. I depend on her reviews and this time, she’s fallen short on keeping us informed.

I think she’s as confused as the rest of us about what gets included in the chart.

          Wow! That’s true. Why bother?
