MS-DOS Text with Layout (2003 SP2)

It appears that the converter/filter MS-DOS Text with Layout(.asc) has disappeared from Word 2003.(i.e. File Save As. Save As Type)
Was this removed due to that lawsuit? I think it was in SP1, but now it’s gone from SP2. Downgrading probably isn’t an option. How can I reproduce it? Is there another converter/filter to use? Saving as plain text is not an option because I must preserve the formatting(at least the spacing). Does a third party sell this converter/filter?

My company needs to save documents in this format to transfer to a mainframe.

I’d appreciate any ideas on this subject.

Thanks! I just installed it. It works as expected with a little security warning, but we can live with that.

The registry modification described at the end of MSKB article You receive a security warning message when you open or when you save a document in Word 2003 may help you to get rid of the security warning.
