Hey Y’all,
Well here’s one I’m sure you haven’t seen before…
I just installed a new Keyboard Tray, yeah a Keyboard Tray.
When I reconnected the keyboard and booted my main driver…BSOD! Windows tried to repair…BSOD. Etc., Etc.
Of course, today is the day I have a big presentation on avoiding scams for our retirement community.
Well after several tries I decided it’s time for the old Image Backups to come out.
What I really appreciated was about Image for Windows was the fact that that nice side bar was sitting on the left side of the screen so I didn’t have to fish out the USB Drive to boot to run IFW. Yeah, I have a couple of them JIC! I connected my backup drive, started IFW, restored C:, separate partitions for Windows C: and Data G: so I didn’t have to worry about loosing the latest changes to the presentation (PowerPoint), rebooted, and all is good.
I’m posting this just to reinforce the need for a good backup regime and good backup software. You just never know and of course Mr. Murphy ALWAYS shows up at the worst times!
When Computing ALWAYS use PROTECTION! LOL
