I’ve just invested in a new computer with Vista (Home premium) loaded. I’ve been using OL2K on my previous PC (under XP) and everything I read tells me that OL2K won’t work on Vista but that Windows Mail is as good as, if not better than, OL2K. My question is – how do I import the mailbox, archive, and contacts data to WinMail? I’ve tried loading OL2K on the Vista machine and copying all the .pst files over from the XP machine, but the “import from outlook” option on WinMail won’t find outlook, or tells me that outlook needs to be the default mail engine. I’ve tried to tell OL that it’s the default (a message box pops up when I start it), but WinMail still refuses.

    Any thoughts?
