I had been using Outlook 2003 on a 32Bit Windows 7 System. I’ve decided to go back to 32Bit Windows XP Pro. I have just finished the fresh install of Office 2003 on the new XP drive. I have located and moved the PST files without issue (from the original Win7 drive). The PST files brought all of my contacts and all of my emails… But my email accounts did not come along with the PST files.

I still have the original Win7 hard drive in my case. It is now drive X:. All system files, program files, etc. are just as they were. My new drive C: is obviously the Windows XP drive. So, are my email accounts on the X drive somewhere?? Is there a file or files that I could simply copy over to my C drive to restore my email accounts and the appropriate settings?

I have about a dozen email accounts and I could just re-enter all of the accounts, passwords, and settings into the new install. Just hoping there was a quicker way.

    Thanks,
    Ricky

You could try some of the suggestions here.

I can navigate to the original Win7 drive and snoop around, move files, etc., but not sure I can access the Win7 registry without actually booting up Win7. Will probably just start re-entering the email account info from scratch.

In hindsight, I should have prepared better for the transition before hand, rather than waiting and trying to move files. I was aware of the PST files and just assumed there would be a simpler way to retrieve the email accounts too.

      Anyway, thanks. And thank you.
