    Help!

Ran into a new problem I’m hoping someone else has done. A user took an item from her drafts folder, and selected Move to Folder item off of the File menu. Instead of choosing a sub folder within the personal folder, she simply chose the top option, the personal folder itself. The message appears to be gone, not within any of the subfolders like inbox, drafts, sent items, etc. There is no way I can tell to open the master folder where Outlook let her drop it into, and, no, it’s not in the deleted items either. Where did the message go? Finding a lost dog is easier than this….

    Thanks for all your help

Sounds like you’re talking about the Outlook Today folder. If so, right click on it and choose properties from the menu. Click the Home Page tab and take the check out of the “show home page” box. You should see the item in the folder. Once you clean out the folder you can put the check back in.
