I did it again. Sorry. I figured out why – the new UI in WordPress requires you to press Enter after inserting a link. The old UI just accepted it. I keep forgetting.

FYI: Got today (not Tuesday but Wednesday afternoon) again “Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3035583)”. It came as a Recommended Update, italicized, and unchecked. Going to hide it again…. arggggh!

Pushing drivers to hardware you control and know the ins and outs of, makes sense.

Driver updates on other hardware… any random OEM machine, not so good.

Does windows 10 install driver updates whenever? Can you prevent it?

I just checked for new updates and there it is – optional, recommended, italicized and unchecked. Hello and goodbye.
