As you have closed the thread, I am unable to add the suggestions of trying MCT in Safe Mode with Networking or after enabling the hidden admin account and logging in with that.
Another alternative is to run the Windows Repair program from http://www.tweaking.com – MS techs have been known to use it when they were stuck
