Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
I used to get a progress bar at the bottom of the screen when downloading in Google Chrome, it’s now gone missing. All I have is the taskbar icon, which does still advance during a download, but I would really like the original, which I could click on to run the download if I wanted to.
Anybody else experienced this, and can I restore it?

Disable #download-bubble from within the chrome://flags section, then press [Relaunch] should do it..
Google has removed chrome://flags/#download-bubble setting in Chrome 119
