A user reported that she doesn’t see the front and background colors applied to Excel cells, in any workbook she creates or opens (some of the older workbooks are created in Excel97). All cells display black text on white background. But when she does a print preview or prints it to paper, the colors are there… I saw this myself on her PC. confused
She send me a dummy file that has this problem (attached). Looking at this dummy file on my 4 PCs the colors always display correctly, both in Excel97 and Excel2003. So I think it must be something in her Excel options or something like that. I looked everywhere under Tools > Options, but didn’t come across something useful. Clicking the button Reset to defaults (or something like that, translated from Dutch) on the tab Color did not solve the problem.
    Any ideas?
