I have just installed 2007 and there does not appear to be as many chart options as in previous versions, ie I can’t find combination charts (line and bar) or line charts with two vertical axis (Left and right side) for example – anyone have any idea where they are or how to create them?

Well, I love Excel 2007 and all of its new features. Except one: charting. MSFT delivered a package that with respect to charting (well, and the other graphics too) is at the very best at beta stage.
I seem to recall you can still create combination charts, but that it is a manual process, but I’m not sure. Best ask this in public.microsoft.excel.charting newsgroup, there are some people there who know.

I don’t know if he has updated much for XL 2007, but whenver I have a charting issue, I wander over to Jon Peltier’s site…

You can still create them, you just have to manually change the chart type for a particular series or change its axis.
