greetings, been awhile… Recently installed a new drive (160 gig, yowsah) and did a recabling job in the homebuilt box, used Ghost to migrate the files, and the system runs dandy… one minor annoyance. No CDROMS in Windows Explorer.

They are in Computer Management under Logical Drives.
Can be accesed from the command line or the run box
    Nero 7 can find them.
Boot screens run by too fast to see, but a check in BIOS setup shows they are detected.
    Just not in Windows Explorer.

The two hard drives are setup with cable select.
So are the CD drives (one a CD burner, the other DVD burner)

Gotta be a registry glitch, but don’t know where to start looking…

    Help?

Have you got a copy of TweakUI? This can be used to hide drives from explorer, so might be worth checking.
