I am a novice Win 10 user whose partner will not give up his Win 7 machine. I use Avast Premium for virus protection on the Win 7 machine and make backups regularly. I know it is just a matter of time before there is trouble on the Win 7. Would something like Opatch pro help protect this out of date computer? It would be worth the 25 pounds a year for my peace of mind (I’m in the US). Someday I will wean him off of Win 7 hopefully before Win 12 is announced. Any suggestions gratefully considered.

0patch will definitely help to keep that Windows 7 machine safe. I use it and heartily recommend it. Well worth the money IMHO.

There is a wide variety of steps that one can take to protect a Win7 system. You might like to take a look at this thread, which is devoted precisely to pursuing that objective.  🙂

      Opatch pro

For 0Patch Pro to work Windows 7 need to be updated up to Jan. 2020.

I purchased Pro June 9 and my console shows 4 Patches were applied 20 times covering 6 Applications. I just trust those here that those Patches really matter for trying to Max Protection. Never heard of it til member Geo suggested it; $2/month not an issue for me….
