I wish to increase the size of one of my two Hard Disk Drives which are 40 GBytes to a 120 GByte. The HDD is partitioned into four partitions each about 10 GBytes, the system is working fine except that my boot drive is getting close to the danger area in size. I know how to migrate a drive in 98SE, but cannot find how to to it with XP. I want to save all my program installations and because of the the two disk situation the drive letters are split into Disk 1 – “C,E,F, and G” and Disk 2 – “D, and H” any attempt to remove one disk will result in a reassignment of the drive letters and a registry that will be confused. The disks are formatted to NTFS. Any advice would be appreciated.

You should be able to use the software that comes with a new hard drive to effect this; it will allow you to set the partition sizes as you choose and then copy everything bit for bit from the old drive to the new one.
