The issue probably caused by some combination, or bad sequence
it’s not seeems directly related to the update

think of it as the Windows Defender PS cmdlet that caused SFC errors

Woody, Keep in mind that those second monthly cumulative updates are previews and Microsoft may update/fix the code before shipping as official CU on Patch Tuesday. Doesn’t make sense?

Makes a lot of sense (although I wish they used a “Preview channel” to implement it). The problem is if the change isn’t documented…

If they call those updates previews, most folks certainly wouldn’t touch and Microsoft would have to hire testers. In regards to documentation, Microsoft was never good at documenting anything; and, by the way, never trust their documentation. It’s a big ball of mud and nonsense.

I’ve had no issues with this on my fully updated (including August) 1903 machines. YMMV
