I’m guessing that the email was sent to people who have Microsoft accounts.  For those of us that have successfully avoided that and configured machines with local accounts only, we probably won’t see the survey.  I know that I have not.  And I haven’t done anything with Copilot, either.

A good catch on observing how the survey is constructed, in that multiple choice options are structured to favor preferred outcomes. Although Microsoft may take negative user feedback seriously, that does indicate that the real purpose of the survey is Marketing trying to find ways of inducing further and expanded use of Copilot.

As for the tortured syntax, I agree that it indicates that the writer isn’t a native English speaker, but it also implies that the message wasn’t written with assistance from Copilot.

Microsoft asks me far too frequently for my feedback during my daily IT admin work. And I always tell them just what I think. If they don’t like the answer, it’s not my fault, they asked. 🙂

No matter where you go, there you are.
