So back in October I got a bunch of updates on all my Windows 7 systems. As usual I wait for the news letter and then read what Susan has to say. Now I made a list of the updates back in October, but I never got around to installing them.
So this month I got the newsletter and I am going over the updates and I saw something I am not sure of. Two updates in particular from October; KB3000061 and KB3000869. These were on my October to install listing and I see them mentioned in Susan’s article so when I refreshed my updates, I now these two are missing. I checked the update log and they were not installed by me so not sure and I also check in the Windows Uninstall a Program area to see if these got installed and they were not.
Reading on, these seem to be very important; kernel updates per the newsletter so I am wondering would it be safe for me to go to the Microsoft Download Center to get these updates so I can install them? They are still at the Microsoft Download Website for download. Or should I just ignore it; figuring all my systems hammered out what I needed and these were not needed any longer.
Thanks
