On my main 1909 PC, I installed the update with no issues.

Downloaded and installed KB4541335 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems.

Got a slight version bump; I’m now on Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.752).

Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!
We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.

I had no problem downloaded and installing KB4541335 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems.

I’m now on Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.752). I originally had a lengthy journey just to upgrade to Version 1909

      Thanks @bbearen

Woody: “KB 4541335 is optional & you don’t need it.”

Forbes via Gordon Kelly: “OMG! People are P—d at Microsoft because KB4541335 is S——g their Windows 10 PC’s Up!!” If you need or just want a laugh: https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2020/04/12/microsoft-windows-10-warning-crashes-boot-internet-connection-slowdown-problems-upgrade-windows-10-free/#46a46dcd3d69

BTW, Kelly is 1 of Forbes’ Chicken Little PC reporters; if he says “The Sky Is Falling!” on the internet, then it Must be true.

Bought a refurbished Windows 10 64-bit, currently updated to 22H2. Have broke the AC adapter cord going to the 8.1 machine, but before that, coaxed it into charging. Need to buy new adapter if wish to continue using it.
