      Some key notes:

      If the Parity Storage Spaces partition shows as RAW:  There is no current official nor reliable workaround.  Hope you had a backup!

      I’ve conducted a short test using a licensed copy of a current edition of Active@ File Recovery (one of several tech tools in our lab) and it cannot read these partitions either.

      That’s . . . unexpected.  And dismaying.

      This particular tool has generally done really well for us, even being able to help reconstruct corrupt RAID volumes with R0, R5 and R6 in the past.  So whatever standard is being used for Microsoft’s in house version of parity management, it’s not one our tools can understand.  Not to say there is no such tool, we just don’t have one that I know about.

      “Tell me again who tests this stuff….” the same person who writes the poor ambiguous goobly gook instructions highlighted in the yellow box.  Obviously too difficult to use plain simple language.
