When I switched my virtual machine software from VMWare Workstation Player to Oracle VirtualBox, I had to reinstall everything in the new environment after installing Windows 8.1.
The one program I couldn’t find was Microsoft Movie Maker. Movie Maker is an excellent program for editing videos in Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Unfortunately, not only couldn’t I find it where I had saved it, but I couldn’t find it at microsoft.com.
I was eventually successful in finding Windows Essentials, which contains Microsoft Movie Maker, at the following website:
You can download it from there, then run wlsetup-all.exe to install it.
