GuestMay 24, 2018 at 6:45 am #194094Fast. There are no problems in my old Ivy Bridge.
I don’t know if some of you have the same message when I have to reboot:
“some settings are managed by your organisation”
Policies set in your device:
Set when Active Hours stars
Source:Administrator
Type:Mobile device management (????????)So, i have a desktop Asus K5130, with Windows 10 Home (I bought the license with the Microsoft Windows DVD support) and i’m a home user.

GuestMay 24, 2018 at 8:01 am #194108I also am a Win 10 home user.
I have the same “some settings are managed by your organization” message visible in Windows Update. As Rimes says, it goes away if you refresh for new updates. This has happened twice since the 1803 upgrade (after the CU released on May 8th), and now again for this update.
You may also see this message in various settings such as lock screen, diagnostics & feedback, and in location.
For me, the messages have seem to disappeared from those various settings screens as mentioned above. I have no idea what is causing this.
A LOT of people are seeing this.
Apparently if you are on Win Pro you can use group policy settings to fix this. For us Win 10 home users, it appears that there is a way to fix it through Registry Editor (no thanks).
If you google “some settings are managed by your organization 1803”, you will see a lot of people posting about this issue in various forums. One place to look is in a “Tenforums” post, which is now 27 pages long!

Microsoft Update Catalog lists the KB4100403 update with a “Last Updated” date of 5/24/2018, which is today.

AskWoody LoungerMay 26, 2018 at 8:04 am #194542Got this update a couple days ago, now Edge is freezing up entire notebook to a point where I have to do a forced power down. Cursor freezes, keyboard does nothing. Nothing special about this notebook, just a Inspiron 5567 Intel chip Intel graphics but a Hynix SSD drive. Still working through possible causes but I run Defender and no other third party AV so definitely not the Avast thing.

GuestMay 28, 2018 at 12:42 pm #194873Thank you Woody for the detailed info on the issue.
My new Surface Pro is having the INTEL SSD and it did not install the Windows 10 1803 update.
It fails at 49 % with a message that the hardware is not supported. Even today I tried got the same message. KB 4100403 is for resolving the issues who had already installed the 1803 update. In my case the update itself is not installed. Any idea how to install 1803 on my Surface Pro.Thanks in advance.
