Woody, based on the number of comments here and compared with the number of comments about the articles dealing with Windows 7 update issues, I can safely say that the Surface devices don’t have too many fans.
I think the Surface devices are good devices, but when I was looking at Surface 3 just before the release of Windows 10, I thought the price was prohibitive for a lot of users and not cost effective for the rest. Is the price the criteria that makes the Surface devices less utilised than they deserve?

I’m not sure who’s buying them, but MS is selling $4 billion in Surfaces a year. Those are significant numbers!
