The 64-bit version of Outlook 2010?  I’d be surprised if a lot of people were using it, given that Office 2010 64-bit is not compatible with a lot of third-party plugins.  And it’s not like Outlook is a massive memory hog that could benefit from >2 GB RAM…. I’ve got Outlook 2019 here with a big mailbox and it’s taking less than 200 MB RAM.

Good to know. I do not need, so do not use, Outlook, but understand that some things in it are shared with other Office 2010 applications, so I’ll keep an eye on this, see what else of concern may happen to those, because of this problem. In any case, do not have or see any reason to install any November patches right now. Three weeks from now, depending on the situation, maybe I would. Probably this will be fixed before that.

I have Outlook 2010 32 bit- will hold off installing until we are sure it’s only the 64 bit problem.

I’ll use Office 2010 as long as I can- I have 365 on another machine and I don’t like the UI, especially on Word and OneNote.

      The update catalog shows this:

      Security Update Outlook 2010 (KB4461529) 32-Bit – 11/16/2018
      Security Update Outlook 2010 (KB4461529) 64-Bit – 11/15/2018

      Catalog Link

      I wonder what’s changed ….
