What would you recommend? I have WIN 7 x64 and IE11 (upgraded from IE9). Is it “safe” to install KB 3038314 or should I continue to wait until Microsoft responds and finally fixes things?

Woody. Does it touch only IE 11 or the others versions (IE 9, 10) is touched ?

With all the problems with IE why is anyone still using it and will KB3038314 cause problems with Firefox or Google Chrome or just IE11?

If you have an open server connection to the internet that’s unprotected, yeah, you’re probably better of applying it.

For 99% of the readers here, that isn’t the case.

Microsoft likes IE so much they’ve basically abandoned it in Windows 10. The replacement, Project Spartan, is actually a contender….
