Merry Christmas – Happy Hannukah 🙂
For those who don’t know it, there are many spellings for the same event

Merry Christmas to you sir from your eastern neighbor in Clarksville

    • #15928

Typical Christmas weather here in Brentwood – high 71, mist.

    • #15932

I preferred “Chanukah” but my son’s school is now using “Hannukah.” It’s hard transliterating Hebrew!

    • #15934

I surely consider this site to be one of the best Christmas presents I’ve received, albeit early. Thanks, Woody, for all the great information and counsel that you provide us!

Wet and windy in England as usual but unusually mild.

      Have a great Christmas 🙂

    • #15938

Happy holidays to all, and to all a good computing experience!

Heh, almost exactly the same here in Big D. Except add some rain.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all! 😀

    • #15940

A very happy and healthy 2017 to you and yours, Woody. You do a remarkable service and I admire you and your work immensely.

Hannukah is more of a Sephardic pronunciation than Chanukah which is more ashkinasic. Sephardic is the way of the Israelies.

      Hey Woody

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and Happy Holidays!

Found this online, but don’t know how to show the image inside this posting directly:

And that’s *major* religions. How about *minor*, such as Wicca:

To the tune of “Colorado Christmas” by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, may the spirit of Christmas be with you!

    • #15944

Nothing typical about the Christmas weather here in the Buffalo, NY area and I’m lovin it! 40 degrees, cloudy and NO SNOW!

Happy everything Woody… peace to all & be safe!

    • #15945

      +1 :)!

Merry Christmas, Woody, and thank you for all your helpful work.

    • #15947

I heard about it for the first time few years ago when one of the managers where I was working at that time sent out an email to everyone around this period of the year. He is Jewish and used the spelling Hanukkah.
This year some of the supermarkets here have sections with specific food and use the spelling Chanukah.
Totally confused, Wikipedia came to rescue. 🙂

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family Woody, from Westcliff-on-Sea, England (about 20 miles from our Brentwood). Hope you enjoy a well earned rest, you deserve it, you have work hard for all of us. Thank you.

      Merry Christmas from rural Oregon!

0 F this morning, up to the mid 20s. We have a few inches of snow from a few days ago, not enough to worry about. Lots of jackrabbit tracks in the snow.

Merry Christmas to ALL ! ! I hope everyone is having a great day.

Hot – 37 °C – and dry here in Oz (yesterday).

    • #15957

      Oy. THAT is HOT!

    • #15958

Yes, I though to reply to Ed above that here there are 40 degrees too, but Celsius! Well it is not so hot where I am, but it may eventually happen this summer.

Merry Christmas (sorry I’m late) and a Happy New Year to Woody and everyone here.

    • #15961

No, Canberra. It was only 33 at the time of my post actually.

    • #15962

Wishing you all a belated merry xmas and all the best for the new year from a rainy YPR, thanks one and all especially Woody for helping me dodge the upgrade bullet(s) required daily reading at home not so here alas. Hoping the new year brings some clarity on all things “Windoze” not holding my breath for that and it hurts with a “Hangover” too.
Take care one and all and best wishes for the new year. 🙂

    • #15963

All the best to everyone for 2017

    • #15964
