I am creating an envelope for a mass mailing using the merge function for the recipient’s addresses. I have a field for the first and last names of the recipients, but when I merge the names into the envelope, there is often a large gap between the first name and the last name of the recipient if the first name of the recipient is smaller than the number of characters I allocated for first name field. Is there someway I can alleviate this problem other than adjusting the size of the first name field for each recipient? I know one way would be to put both the first and last name in the first name field, but then I wouldn’t be able to sort on the last names.
Thanking you in advance.
