Here’s another one that puzzles me confused
The menu-structure in my Win CE3 system doesn’t seem to make sense… for example:

    • Items I place in ‘Start Menu’ do not show up under the start-button
    • Although the StartUp folder does work, it is not shown on screen in the Start-menu
    • The Windows-direcory structure in general, deviates from what I have on my Win95 & Win98 systems
[/list]Is there a nice site / document / person bow that (can) explain(s) these things??

      Thanks,

      Erik Jan

You need to remember that the files for the operating system and the core applications are on a ROM device and that other apps and data sit in RAM. So there is a lot of smoke and mirrors to make it look like a Win9x/NT hard disc based file/directory structure.

      See: http://www.cewindows.net/wce/20/directory.htm
