Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
PIII 450mhz, Win 98SE, 128mb
Went to the store to buy another 128mb of memory to add, and oddly enough, it was cheaper to buy 384mb (1-128 and 1-256).
Is there an overkill level? I’ve heard Win98 can only use so much memory efficiently, but I dont know what the numbers are. I do use a couple memory intensive apps- Photoshop and Imatch.
While we’re at it, do any settings need to be adjusted after adding more memory, or will Windows take care of that? Thanks for any suggestions and help.
