Memory errors (Excel 97/SR2)

I have a file that is used to track employee attendance. I have been experiencing some memory problems with the file. The file has been been corrupted somehow, and whenever I try to fix the formulas, I get the attached error message.

Any ideas on what is causing the underlying issue, and better yet how I can resolve it.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you can get access to a copy of Excel 2000, something that can work is saving the file in HTML format and then saving it back into xls format. HTH
