Hmm, how many of those ten of millions requests to turn on Christmas Tree lights were from sassy birds and people who were able to manually insert a plug into an outlet?

Also kind of sad to see Ring was bought by Amazon.

I tried out Rauketen.com as an alternative, but it’s almost, but not quite as bad. Mr. Bezos has enough $$, and I don’t like the way he treats his warehouse employees. I avoid him too.

There’s a huge Walmart distribution depot and Amazon warehouse not far from me, the Walmart employees are far happier with their job. Not long ago it was PC to boycott Walmart mostly due to HR policies, I used to but times have changed. I’m a stereotypical liberal, but watched local bookstores go out of business ever since Amazon got a foothold, that was their initial market. That said, I do have Prime, it was free with my phone plan and I am a consumer on a budget.

It’s very hard to buy anything tech-related without some worker somewhere in the world being exploited, and many grey areas in other fields. If working for $2.13/hr +tips isn’t exploitation, it sure feels like it.
