Welcome, but first let me tell you something about the Rules of the Road:, in case you are entirely new here.They are available in detail here at Woody’s, for the users’ perusal and applied without fail. The moderators, as one may expect, have very sharp scissors and are not shy using them to clip off what they see as inappropriate, redundant, or they consider objectionable for various other reasons, so be careful of what and how you write. There is place for discussions that include politics and religion: it is called the “Rants” forum. But watch that language there as well, and getting personal is definitely beyond the pall everywhere here. For the most part, being on topic is the best way to get your pinions heard and your questions answered. And while it is OK to copy and paste the links to articles with material supporting your own opinions, never, ever add a useful (in your opinion) URL link to something on the Dark Internet. Never. Ever.

The other side of the coin is that the technical advice is often quite good, timely and helpful, that many entries, both from the technical naïve and the techie old-hands tend to be instructive, interesting and even funny.

You will find the time you dedicate to visiting here to be, for the most part, time well spent.  I know I have. So, once more: Welcome!
