I’m trying to organize my very large music library of mp3’s into the database of the Windows Media Library. In an effort to start over, I actually deleted the entire music library from my computer, but it doesn’t matter what I do, the Media Player still shows the same library I had before, even though it’s nowhere to be found. Of course if you select a song the player can’t find it anymore. How do I “zero out” the Windows Media database so I can start over? When I select Organize | Manage Libraries | Music, the directory is now empty. When I select Organize | Apply Media Changes a progress bar goes from 0 to 100% in a few seconds and nothing happens. It seems there is a database stored somewhere but I can’t find it.

OS = Windows 7 Pro Windows Media Player v12
