I have tried 2 popup blockers with no success. I have tried a download uninstall for McAfee still pops up every 5 minutes or  so. I have looked in M/store but I can’t see any help there. Can anyone help please.

If the popup is in your browser you may have a virus rather than McAfee.
Run a full virus scan using your AV.
Run a scan using the free MalwareBytes Anti Malware. (Don’t enable the real time scan, use the manual scan – it’s what I use).

      cheers, Paul

The popup will show up with no browser active,  as long as I am on line.

Thank you Paul, I have taken your advice, & “Malwarebyte” found 9 prob’s all of them to do with http://veryfast.io   which has to do with “app store by fast”. I’ll be watching to see my problem popup gone. I HOPE!!??%%#

Can you print-screen the pop-up and upload here ?

McAfee is notorious for failing to uninstall completely.

They have their own stand-alone uninstaller: McAfee Consumer Product Removal tool (MCPR). You can find information and download MCPR here:  https://www.mcafee.com/support/?articleId=TS101331&page=shell&shell=article-view

Also, many websites have tips for uninstalling McAfee products. Just do an Internet search for “mcafee complete uninstall” or similar.

The popup no longer happens, so all is well thank you all. It was a malware, & MalwareBytes Anti Malware, found it repeated 9 times.

      It was a malware

How did you get the malware in the first place ?
You better check the quality of the A/V software you are using.
