I have a large (>100 Page) document which is basically three parts joined together so I have a master document with just a few bits of text and three subdocuments. It’s flaky – sometimes I open the master and the subs have vanished. I know where they are so I can work on them and reinsert but why do they leave the Master? It seems to happen mostly when I have altered a subdocument having opened it through the master and/or if I change from outline to print layout.
