FWIW, installed updates KB5017365,KB5017398, and KB5017531 with no problem, except that installation was slow, perhaps because the computer is old and failing.  All other Windows 8.1 current updates were skipped.

Unrelated to the topic, I just want to report that visitors via Tor have hard time accessing askwoody.com. Wordfence is not only blocking spam, it completely blocks read-only/view-only visitors.

I’ll reach out to wordfence but it also reacts to reputation.  Ultimately I have to protect the site for the majority of the users.
