Marianne Faithfull was always beautiful, she was an integral part of the British Invasion. My friends and I wanted to be like her.

Did anyone watch FireAidLA last night? It came on too late for me 10:00pm (EST) but I got to see Alanis Morissette and Stephen Stills – Graham Nash . . . I haven’t checked yet but I hope these two concerts were recorded for later viewing.

I videotaped the movie “Girl on a Motorcycle”.  It was filmed in 1968 and is a great way to visit the 1960’s Marianne Faithfull style.  I still have the tape and it plays.  There’s a great 2:20 minute video on Youtube of this movie that captures some of the best parts IMO.  I didn’t like the ending though.  She was beautiful.

Being 20 something in the 70's was so much better than being 70 something in the insane 20's

“The Girl on a Motorcycle” currently is streaming for free on Kanopy which may be available as a free service from your public library. It’s streaming elsewhere too but with a rental or subscription charge.
