I’ve looking for a way to map an MTP device (in this case, a GPS receiver) to a Window drive so that I can access it more easily with a program I use.    There are some commercial utilities out there (e.g. https://www.mtpdrive.com/index.html) but they are pricey, even for single user for non-commercial use.    Is anyone aware of freeware or donation ware that will map an MTP device to a Windows drive letter?  Or a way to do it natively within Windows?  Thanks!

If your MTP device has an IP address (preferably fixed IP) than you can add the device to Quick Access list.
