Hi,
I assume you have checked the Reconnect at logon box when mapping the drive? Do your IT people run login scripts that map drives for you – if so, this may be overriding your mappings (you might also have mandatory profiles that override any changes you make). Finally, you could write a simple batch file to remap the drive and put it in your startup directory.

Thanks Rory, I was not clicking the re-map at logon option & now that I did, problem is solved.
