    Hello Everyone,

I need some help. I am trying to create a timesheet that based on the type (Sheet 2) will give me only the option to select the source for that type. For example, I need a list in (Sheet 1) displaying the types available and the source be a list too but only for that type. Any help would be great. Basically I want the employee to select type (say vacation) and be able to only select one source from the list (Self-vacation, Family Vacation). Thanks.

You can use the method described in Excel — Data Validation — Dependent Lists.

In the attached version of your workbook, I have rearranged the data in Sheet2 and assigned named ranges Types, Vacation, Sick and Direct – look at Insert | Name | Define… to see their definitions.
In Sheet1, I set Data | Validation in column A to allow only items from the Types list, and in column B to allow items from the list indicated by the cell in column A; the validation formula for cell B4 is =INDIRECT(A4).
