I have 3 PC’s all in the same room (i.e. within 4 metres 12′-0″ of each other) I would like to purchase bluetooth adapters/receivers or whatever to enable all PC’s to print to the printer. I have a small Cat5e/wireless network but the router is full.
The favoured printer is the Epson R390 which has a non-available bluetooth device which serves image data only, not suitable.
My aim is to load the printer to each of the systems and move the transmitter to the PC in use, or am I being daft.
The network has two printers a HP 2100tn and an Epson 1160 (A3 plus) connected via a Netgear PS121 print server
The purpose is to be able to print direct to CD’s. I have lightscribe but it leaves a lot to be desired.
    I need advice and directions
    Again my thanks in advance.

Why complicate a system by adding new networking problems? Just get yourself a new router that has a printer connection. It’ll probably cost you less than trying to get bluetooth devices for everything (not to mention the time requirements to get it running).

You’ve mentioned that you have a wireless network. How about the Linksys WPSM54G? It supports multifunction devices (Printer / Scanner / Fax / etc..), and works with most USB printers. You might need to do a little research, but a device similar to this may be your answer.

My apologies for the delay in acknowledgment of the replies, I have put the project on hold for a couple of months. My network which is part wireless part wired is full, I either have to put in an uplink switch or get a new Router/access point/switch combination. My current unit is a Netgear WGR614 with a print server PS121. The wireless NIC are WG311. I am terrified about touching the network which fulfills every need. And all I want is a printer to print on the face of CD’s
I have to think this more carefully.
        Thank you for the replies
