Not sure why this is happeneing…

When certain people in the office get in, and access there mail, It usually take 15 min or so before it sends it. (Clarification) I sit down at 9:00am, open Outlook and hit Send/Recieve, I get no errors and it say I have NO new messages. I hit it agin in 15-20 min, now I have 10 new messages that should have been there the first time I hit it.

All the settings on the client and server seem correct???

    Any ideas?

I’m wondering if the message store could have some index corruption, or is taking an inordinately long time to be updated.

Any commonality between the users that are seeing the lag time? Anything that seperates them from users who don’t see the lag time? Say, version of Outlook running on the client, method of connectivity, membership in distribution or security groups?
