Macro, Visual Basic Editor greyed out in Outlook 2007. How can I active it?

Just to try another method of opening the editor, does Alt+F11 work?

If macros has been disabled, perhaps the editor is not available?? You could check your Macro Security settings.

Office Button > Word Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings

Perhaps the checkbox at the bottom under “Developer Settings” will allow you to access the editor? (I’m looking at a screen shot and cannot verify in a live version of Word 2007.)
