I searched and didn’t find this posted anywhere.

    https://www.macrium.com/black-friday

It’s only for Reflect X and I know a lot of folks are not interested in the subscription model. But maybe someone who is is not aware of this offer.

Also, if you are running a previous version of paid for Reflect and you are subscribed (ha!) to receive notifications from Macrium you should have received an email with an upgrade offer:

Upgrade Offer: 3 Years for the Price of 2

    • Valid for existing Reflect license only
    • Limited time offer
    • Secure the price of Macrium Reflect X by paying up front

If you want to add new licenses you must use the Black Friday offer instead of the upgrade offer.

The offer expires on December 5.

Offering a small discount to lock you into a subscription doesn’t sound like much of a bargain!
Especially when you don’t need to update backup software, you only need to use it. (I am using MR V7.3 and it does exactly what I need.)

      cheers, Paul

        Paul,

Totally agree, I’m still using Version 6 and it still works perfectly!

      Agree.

When I find software that is subscription based, I immediately lose all interest in using that software.

I use Macrium Reflect 8 with a perpetual license and 4 installs.

While I’m relived to have this, I have a family member who kicked the can on getting Reflect 8 over and over.  You guessed it, now, after a total MVMe C: drive failure (and new MVMe drive), they can only get the subscription model. Rats.

I’m checking out Easeus Todo as a possible choice for them.  Maybe Acroinis, but I switched from Acronis to Macrium.  Suggestions?

Doesn’t matter what they use, as long as they do it regularly and have a boot USB that works.

I’ve tried Aomei, MiniTool, MR etc. I use MR, but don’t recommend it for “ordinary” folk – very techie. Aomei or MiniTool are better for them.

        cheers, Paul

          Forgot about MiniTool.  Good catch.

For a single vX license at $25 and Half-fee Renewal forever (if vX inst’d by March, I think) … it’s a much easier decision. No better Forum than Macrium’s, but low-techies like me won’t care @ (current) $2/mo ave cost. Multi-units Licenses, I understand the $$.

Resurrecting an old thread, I was just curious about the current offerings for Reflect X. So, I downloaded a trial version and it looks and performs exactly the same as version 8. I did not spend much time with it since my initial reaction was that it would do NOTHING for me except, drain my wallet. 😢

Logging in to my account, the deal is the same as previously reported for current Version 8 users. You can still get a 1 year sub for $25 (or 4 for $50) if you are willing to give up your current license(s). Or, you can keep your version 8 license(s) and get three years for the price of two. The annual price will keep the 50% off at renewal. (Not necessarily the same price.)

Just thought I’d share for anyone that may be interested.

Thanks for posting the Reflect X “deals”.

Assuming I understand the details correctly, the real “gotcha” is that there is no future price guarantee.

Only the discount deal remains for future renewals – but the price may increase (or decrease??).

As others have mentioned, my MR v8 (w/perpetual license) works fine on Win10/11 now and likely for the foreseeable future (at no additional cost) – so I’ll pass on the Reflect X “upgrade”.
