Just upgraded and cannot send e mails, Apple engineers confirmed the problem, will there be fixes?

I have two Apple Silicon Macs (M1 MacMini and M2Max MacBook Pro) and one Intel Mac (Kaby Lake i7 21.5″ iMac4K). All three are used heavily all day, and all run at least one Parallels VM with Win8.1, Win10 and/or Win11. The the Apple Silicon devices are running Sonoma 14.4.1.

The iMac4K has been running Ventura 13.6.6 since shortly after it was released. I do not use the Apple mail program, Time Machine or MS Teams. But the iMac4K does run many third-party apps (two VMs – Win8.2/Win10) and all the other things apply – WiFi, BlueTooth, printers, display. I have had no problem so far with Ventura 13.6.6 on the iMac4K.
      Guess I’m lucky

I have many startup problems.  I downloaded Google Chrome as an app I needed as it wasn’t available in Safari.  I’ve since tried to remove Crome.

Install Ventura 13.6.7 RC and see if it fixes your problem.

The computer screen randomly goes to screen saver or dark.  Sometimes after I type on a letter or two. It’s done 4 times as I try to submit this email. Checked the settings and all looks good.  This started happening when I updated to Ventura 13.6.6. Any ideas? It’s really frustrating!

I ran Ventura 13.6.6 from the time it came out until I upgraded to Ventura 13.6.7 shortly after it came out last month, on a 2017 21.5″ iMac4K with Intel Kaby Lake i7. See #2663886. I have had no problem with either version.

Suggest you upgrade to 13.6.7 and see if it fixes your problem.
