Most Windows apps run fine on the Win11-64 on ARM virtual machine that runs in Parallels on my Mac. The Visual Basic 6.0 app I have runs fine. It is a front end to a Microsoft Access database.

I haven’t been able to create a System DSN that a ColdFusion server running on the VM needs to read and write to the Access database.

When the Win key is pressed and “odbc” is typed, the search says ODBC Data Sources (32-bit) but, when selected “ODBC Data Source Administrator (64-bit)” loads.

When add is selected from the “System DSN” tab, only SQL Server datasource drivers are available. On my Dell Win10-64 machine, I create a datasource selecting the “Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)” option.

Any ideas how to get a Microsoft Access option on Win11-64 on ARM will be appreciated!

Try running “C:\WINDOWS\syswow64\odbcad32.exe” – that should give you the 32-bit version if it exists.
