Lost System Tools

I was helping a friend who has WIN ME. We wanted to run SCANDISK and DEFRAG. I went to Accessories expecting to find them listed under System Tools. There was no listing for System Tools in Accessories. How do I get it back?

Just a guess as I’m on W2K.
Open up ‘My Computer’, Right_Mouse the selected drive, then Properties | Tools.

Me hides stuff in drop-down menus that you haven’t used recently. There should be a double arrowhead at the bottom of the menu – click to expand/ hold cursor over it. That should reveal what you’re looking for.

Ah, yes – the dreaded Personalized Menus.
If that is it., you can select whether or not to use the it on theTaskBar and Start Menu Properties setup window.
