    Hello,
You are my last hope!! I changed my password for admin acct. after listening to TWIT and Steve Gibson’s tut on better pass words!! Wish I’d never heard of it!!

I was very careful in writing it down?? I thought…NOW, i can’t log in!!! I’ve been at this for hours….worn out!!
Any hope here or do I have to reinstall windows? I’m sure this has happened before to people…Hope Fred might have a clue about this??
I have access to my standard acct. and using cmd formats I’ve found won’t work, neither
    does carbonite have help!!
Thanks All // John in Dallas

When you have changed a password you should test it before logging off.
      1. Open a Command Prompt (Start > Run > cmd).
      2. Type the following, where username is the name of the user who’s password you have changed: runas /user:username cmd
      3. Enter the new password. A Command Prompt will open if the password is correct.

      cheers, Paul
