I have an envelope set up to print. It is custom built and all I have to do is change the name & address in the text box which is set up with a specific font, size, color, etc. When I want to insert and new name and address I highlight the old text and try a cut and paste. It works fine except I lose all the settings and have to set them up again for each printing. I tried saving and if I exit after saving that same N & A will be there when I return but if I change the text, etc using cut and paste it goes to a default (I guess).

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody LoungerJanuary 23, 2004 at 1:44 pm #772970I tried that and it didn’t work. In Publisher I use Arial, 14, Bold & Italic, Green color. The database from which I am copying can be set up to do Arial, 14, Bold & Italic but only black in color. Yet when I paste it in a Publisher text box it comes out Times New Roman, 10 and black color. Any other ideas?

AskWoody LoungerJanuary 23, 2004 at 2:31 pm #773008I think the best you can do is create a style when you have it just right based how you want it. You can set colour indents font etc. Then every you time you cut and paste click the stylr to set up your text as ot should be. It’s still a fuss but better than having to make all the changes every time
