Just now I was watching a video on Patreon by that guy who made the “Hip to be Sandman” mashup on Youtube. As I am a musician and he offers background information on his Patreon account about how he makes the mashups, and the cost is only $3 per month to subscribe to his  McClintock Mashups Creator presence, I subscribed. While watching a video where he shows how he made the mashup referenced above I noticed that the audio of his voice was very bass (low frequencies) heavy, which made me want to use a graphic eq to tune it to my preference. I have a couple of apps that contain graphic EQs, Song Surgeon, Amazing Slow Downer and Transcribe! but as far as I can see, those only work with files, like .wav or .mp3. I cannot see a way to use them for steaming audio. Does anyone here know of a graphic equalizer that can be used with streaming audio? I found this list of apps
    https://www.techpout.com/best-audio-sound-equalizer-for-windows-10/
but it doesn’t mention whether any of them can work with streaming audio. Just to give everyone an idea of the type I would like, the fifth one listed, “Graphic Equalizer Studio”, has the appearance I would prefer. I also uploaded a screen shot of it.
    Thanks,
    Don

What app did you use to stream the video ?
You cam always download YouTube videos in a format you prefer and use your current graphic EQs .

The video for which I need graphic EQ is on Patreon. It is not on YouTube. I don’t believe there is a way to download videos from Patreon. I guess I could watch the video in my studio. I have a 31 band stereo graphic EQ there, which is not currently in use. I could insert it between my Presonus Audiobox 1818 and my powered studio monitors. Hard to believe something like this doesn’t exist.

      Thanks,
      Don

Tried posting this earlier. Never saw it, so ……………

If you have Firefox, there is a free add-on called ‘audio equalizer’ that allows you to shape the audio of any media playing only on your FF browser.  It doesn’t affect sound on the system. Works great.  Lightweight. 10 Channels and a preamp. Puts an icon on the toolbar too.

      or past URL into VLC.

I just saw the post by ClearThunder. Yep, that one works for Firefox. I posted this question on the Microsoft forums and someone there suggested an EQ for Edge.

Unfortunately Edge does not play the video on Patreon. Turns out Patreon only “partially” supports Edge. When I told the poster on the MS forum about this he sent me a link to an Extension for Chrome.

      https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/audio-equalizer/aemjbieioebobglekneinkpijacjiohn/related?hl=en-US

I installed that and it works beautifully. I don’t have to mess with any other apps, just watch the video on Patreon with Chrome. It even has a “Spoken Word” preset, which EQ’s the narrator’s voice just about the way I would like.

      Thanks to all who commented.
